New Synergy Announcement: XTRACT and BLOOM Project

A new synergy has been established between XTRACT and BLOOM Project!

BLOOM is a Horizon Europe 🇪🇺 initiative with a €7.5M budget uniting 15 partners across 4 European countries, as well as Canada and Brazil.

The project is focused on facilitating the exploitation of primary critical raw materials (CRMs, minerals and metals only) for the EU to strengthen EU supply chains by increasing efficiency in the extraction and processing of minerals with a smart and modular solids analysis system consisting of an online MLA (Mineral Liberation Analysis) with a sensor based on LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) technology, which enables the integration of advanced control loops at different stages of processing on mining sites, based on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques, or data-driven extraction operations based on accurate mineralogy information from the site.
