XTRACT Project Joins the Materials for Batteries Cluster Hub
Date : 30/08/2024
We are proud to announce that the XTRACT project has been included in the prestigious Materials for Batteries Cluster Hub. This initiative is designed to foster collaboration among EU-funded projects and to explore the specific innovative technologies being developed in the battery materials sector.
The Cluster Hub “Production of raw materials for batteries from European resources” is a knowledge exchange ecosystem where partners involved in different European projects can “prototype” ideas in reality. The platform facilitates collaboration among research institutes, industry, and innovation stakeholders driving the recycling of batteries and the production of raw materials for battery applications from primary and secondary resources available in Europe.
XTRACT is dedicated to introducing the concept of the Zero Emission Mine of the Future. Through this collaboration, we aim to advance our innovative micro-invasive technologies for sustainable and decarbonized extraction, contributing to the EU’s climate neutrality goals.
